Amparo I. Vázquez is a dynamic leader with a rich blend of entrepreneurial, community-oriented, and organizational expertise. With a keen focus on strategic planning, she has forged enduring, win-win partnerships across all organizational levels, consistently driving exceptional business growth, operational efficiency, and long-term strategic success.

Amparo’s leadership journey spans multiple small businesses that she founded and led, including Astekah, Uplifting Infinity, and BIPOC-CX. Through Astekah, she develops services and products to empower women, addressing the impact of societal and relational abuse, while creating personalized meditations for business owners and organizational team leads. Through BIPOC-CX, she provides holistic Client Experience coaching and services based on win-win-win principles, reflecting her commitment to equity and inclusion. Her first business, Uplifting Infinity, provided an initial opportunity to apply strategic thinking to her own enterprise, achieving nearly 100% client retention in the process.

In addition to her entrepreneurial ventures, Amparo played pivotal leadership roles in several other endeavors. As Director of Customer Experience (CX) at Neurodynamic Breathwork, she was one of three business leaders and served as a business growth advisor. She led a cross-functional team to enhance the customer experience for over 50,000 clients. At Innerview International, as Director of Customer Success & Operations, she managed over 70 accounts (with nearly 100% retention), leading the entire post-sales process and driving client retention and satisfaction.

Amparo’s experience in Tech at Culture Amp, an Employee Experience SaaS Start-Up, further underscores her strategic leadership capabilities. As an Enterprise Customer Success Manager, she spearheaded a 20% revenue surge while maintaining 100% GRR. All the while leading the creation of Culture Amp’s Foundation, acting as one of 4 organizational leaders of Culture Amp’s philanthropic effort, co-creating its mission and vision, selection criteria, and selecting its first grant recipient of $25k.

Her leadership extends beyond the corporate world into significant volunteer roles. She served as one of the founding board members of the Stanford Alumni Women’s Impact Network early in her career, and has maintained an active role in volunteer leadership roles since. Most recently, Amparo was nominated to join the inaugural Alumni Association Leadership Council for Girls Inc., a national nonprofit dedicated to girls’ and women’s empowerment that has played a pivotal role in Amparo’s life since her time in high school in South Central Los Angeles and supported her journey from poverty and systemic oppression to a life beyond.

Amparo’s academic background includes a Master’s in International Affairs with a concentration in International Development from George Washington University and a Bachelor’s in International Relations with a concentration in Comparative Culture & Society from Stanford University. She resides in Los Angeles, CA, where she continues to innovate and inspire through her multifaceted career and volunteer efforts.
